Seriously. Every time I go to games I've played, there's the opening for every one. How many different openings are there?
We have 20 possible first moves for white and 20 more for black, so only for the 1st move, 400 different possibilities. So, a lot of openings. ;) from eco codes, 500+ openings.

@PrimalPotatoMine all the white first move were named. For more info, take a look on the eco list, so you will see probably all the names. Or try the opening tool here, and play something, you will get the name of the opening.
The names for the variations and defenses are not standardized nor universal yet. Stockfish or someone has attached names to all variations, but variations (and some openings) have different names in different regions of the world. (For example Benko gambit is called Volga gambit, Ruy Lopez is also Spanish, Petroff is also Russian.) It's kind of neat to play a line and discover someone has given it a name.
