Feature request: resignation/draw offer suggestion by Stockfish

Yeah, the title is weird, I know. My idea is that Stockfish could recommend resignation/draw offer as the best move.

And that could be changeable in the computer settings when analyzing, if you don't want this resignation / draw offer suggestion (those 3 lines near database and practice with computer)
Under what circumstances would resigning be the best move from the computer's point of view? After all, resigning grants the player a 0% chance of winning, whilst any other move would have a non-zero (if still potentially rather slim) chance of winning due to the opponent having the potential to blunder.

If the computer think s there's no chance to get counterplay or to win back material, it could suggest the option of resigning. And if it's a complete drawn position (c/f pawn on 7th ready to promote due to stalemate problems and our king is far away, it's surely a draw), it could make a draw offer.

Of course, this could be optional, you can choose if you want to get your computer suggest you to resign / make a draw offer.

that is not how engines work though, not stockfish anyway. it does not calculate any "chance for counterplay".

Ok. I'll change my suggestion ; Stockfish could suggest resignation / draw offer only with the help of the tablebase. What I mean is that if there are 7 pieces or less, with the sub-analysis of the endgame tablebase, Stockfish could recommend to resign if it's a losing endgame or make a draw offer if it's a drawn endgame.

for what level? there's plenty of theoretically decisive 7 piece endgames that are difficult to win even for gms. recommending to resign there would be outright stupid.
tbh, i don't get your suggestion at all. you can look at the tablebase already, and you'll see the theoretical result. there is absolutely no need to bring stockfish into this.
The OP just didn't think a second on how he would try to define "no chance of counterplay". Same as these repeatedly appearing threads "Sign my moves as brilliant".
