When it starts?
We are going to start on 6 November 2017.

What is it about?
It is a single player league. Players are sorted into groups and play round robin tournament.

Round robin?
In group everyone are going to play with each other.

Groups?
Those groups build a hierarchy. When a player wins a group he moves up.

How many players?
Group size is 10 players. If there will be more players then there will be more groups.

How many rounds?
Every player will play 9 games in one season.

Time control?
In the first season we will try out 90 min + 30 seconds per move.

Do I have to play every round?
Yes, but don’t worry. There will be one week for one round. After every 3 rounds there will be rest / catch up week.

Catch up week?
We want to give you opportunity to play games you did not have time earlier. If you played all scheduled games - well done! You have rest week.
Each round is scheduled to take 1 week.

This means that when you get the list of your opponents, you will see that during round 1 you might be supposed to play the white pieces against Zharptytsia. Then you send me a message, and try to schedule a game before the end of the week with me. Next week, new opponent.

Of course, there might be weeks where you are not able to play, or where we simply can not agree on a time that suits us both. For those cases we will be having "rest weeks" every fourth week. During a rest week you may play games you haven't had the time to play yet.

If you know in advance that you will not be able to play during say round 5, you might also contact your round 5 opponent and schedule a game with them for example during round 4 instead.
