On what I regard to be a basic lack of knowledge of sportsmanship and manners

These arguments, pro and con, are all so decent I won't add. For some reason it strikes me most players don't live in the USA. Imagine for a second beating Donald Trump in a game, how do you think he might respond?
@codagirl considering he only plays with people he does business with, he probably will invite me to a drink and compliment my game. Then i will fake modesty.....
To PawnEdge: I used to be in the habit of always saying GG. I used the automated response feature at ICC (don't know if they still have it) and my automated response was "GG - win or lose I enjoyed the game very much - Thank you." Well, in both instances I have been excoriated for saying GG or using the auto response to the point of wondering if I missed something important somewhere in life. Now I respond to wins or losses "GG" only when I detect the opponent is not a sociopath as you've so eloquently described.
@codagirl That's an interesting question. Trump has, of course, an enormous ego: I've never seen him admit fault or failure in anything and those who've played golf with him say he's a shameless cheater. I think it would be a stretch to imagine him offering a "Good game" after a defeat. I think it's more likely he'd find some reason why the win wasn't fair or didn't really count in some way.
@GSP0113 :Looks more like all his opponent try to find some reason "why the win wasn't fair or didn't really count in some way". But that is not really a chess topic.
I think if my opponent said thank you after i tought about a move for 10 minutes and more I would be super triggered, or if he said thank you after every move
@pawnmulch You wrote: "What............country or planet is the OP from?"

I'm from the USA, planet Earth. I don't think anything I've stated in this thread is all that surprising or odd. Care to elaborate?
