carpet crawlers

Think it's a good idea.
Last night I heard carpet crawlers at a high volume.
It was quiet loud. Very loud.
I sent my pawns into the center.
Threwed the knights at the right side.
Naturally I lost the game.
But it was real fun.

I have no idea what that was supposed to mean.

LOL not entirely sure what Steve's saying but I picked up on carpet crawlers being part of a Genesis song, and replied with something about what's in the air tonight, referring to In the Air Tonight, a song by Phil Collins, Genesis' drummer (and kind of lead singer).

i think its a riddle or a cheap poem ... maybe both?
