I don't think it's actually people making those useless threads and commenting, they are doing some sort of NPC testing. It's even more noticeable on chess.com.

(e.g. A thread title will be one word like "yes" or "gg" and then everyone will comment in thread repeating the thread title. Nothing more, nothing less.)

@MohammadAayanKhan That's probably why lichess is asking us to report people when they make those nonsensical forums.
