Because you seem of good faith, I'll tell you where I come from :
I'm asking you that because you very much remind me of xkcd.com/1112/

I believe, should you play a couple more games (say, 200 blitz games), especially against stronger players, you will come to see by yourself that #1 is mostly unhelpful.

Now for everyone else reading, www.chess.com/blog/mastertanCrazyhouse/light-dark-a-visual-guide-to-crazyhouse is a very good guide to zh. (@lichess, any hopes that lichess becomes the standard repository of such knowledge, rather than reddit or chess.com ?)

Now... thanks for the advice on the game.

I decided to give them values because... even though in Crazyhouse values might matter a lot less, I believe having a few general rules is helpful.

In Crazyhouse, pieces have all sorts of different values depending on the position, and you can decide for yourself what everything is worth.
