I'm never playing chess again

He can take the rook, -7,8 its a stupid mistake, I also blunder such dumb things
You just played the move too quickly - ordinarily @tpr would have something to say here. Recently I've observed that the adjectives "intelligent" and "stupid" are more appropriately used to describe behaviours than people, i.e., rather than saying "I am stupid", it's more accurate to say "I acted stupidly in this situation". In this case, the stupid behaviour is not using the time available. That's a behaviour, perhaps even a habit, that can be changed if you put your mind to it.

I can sympathise that it might not be reassuring to hear that from someone whose rating is much higher than your own. If it's any consolation, here's one of my losses from just 2 months ago, in which I also played too quickly:

(Did I call myself an idiot at the time? Yes, I did. Did I quit chess? Apparently not.)
@A_0123456 I looked. I don't see what you're referring to. I see a mixture of wins and losses, all pretty typical of your rating range (you're certainly no stupider than any of your opponents). I don't know why you resigned against valentincom.
@A_0123456 I can sympathize with you. In my last tournament, I lost in 12 moves to a player rated 800 USCF because I missed that he had a mate in 1 threat. I quit the tournament, but I didn't quit chess. It's a brutal game, and sometimes you have really ugly losses. It happens to everybody
