How 18 ACPL with 3 mistakes and 4 innacuracies?

For me, that is a low centipawn loss. I've had games with no mistakes, but higher average centipawn loss. Why does this happen?
Here is a game with only 5 inaccuracies, but 58 average centipawn loss. There were no mistakes or blunders. I am white. Why is it a higher centipawn loss here than in the game at the top?
The answer is: because average centipawn loss doesn't mean much by itself. In order to make sense of it, you need a lot of other context clues.

It's a bit like asking why chocolate bar A tastes better than chocolate bar B, even though the wrapper on chocolate bar B says it contains more sugar. Outside of extreme cases, the sugar content by itself doesn't tell you much about how good the food tastes. Likewise, outside of extreme cases, acpl by itself doesn't tell you much about the game or how well it was played.
The longer the game, the lower the AcPL
