Being kicked out of Lobby play without justification

My complaint is that I continue to be booted out of the lobby for "aborting games". Each time I loss two or 3 times it tells me I have to wait 4hrs because I aborted the game which I did not do. So...Can the system just let people abort games. Who cares?!!! I don't care if some one quits! Its not a big deal. NO ONE SHOULD BE PUNISHED! And because of this punishment the program is booting people who aren't aborting games. Stop the madness man. Let us play how we want. Its online chess for god sakes. Let people quit if they want without you punishing them for not wanting to finish out the game. You don't need to police this site. ITS. ONLINE. CHESS. Please do something about this. Thank you.
I completely agree.....what the site needs to do also is get rid of it's online bots that pose as players to make their site appear larger.
Looking at your past few games, it looks like you were banned because you kept letting your time run out rather than resigning. If you're losing a game and don't want to continue playing, just resign and you shouldn't have any more issues.
@Leonidas222

Leaving the game or aborting too many games is not a sportive behavior and lichess correctly punishes you for that.

Instead of letting your time run down when you're losing, just resign and you will not get banned again from lobby games.

Have fun
@Kingwrecka please share your evidence of "bots". Since Lichess is a non profit why would they want the site to appear larger?

In regards to the OP you keep crying it's online chess. Just because you are behind a computer screen do you think you should be allowed to behave as you please? This says a lot about your character as a person. Abandoning games doesn't impact you but it impacts your opponent as they have to wait before they can claim a win. There is a resign button if you want to "quit". Try using it.
Li'l Puppet had players sit and not play, so Li'l Puppet aborted. Then Li'l Puppet was punished. Li'l Puppet is here to play chess, not wait like in a doctor's office at the pleasure of another opponent who decides not to move. On a related topic, when an opposing force refuses to play, Lil" Puppet will block said opponent. The point being, if they don't want to play you, then why keep them on the roster? It's like stopping every day to give a Hobo a ride in to town, but the Hobo refuses. After a while, one has to simply quit wasting time by stopping to offer.
OK.
So, if you wait a certain amount of time before aborting (depends on the time control; in 10+0 it's 30 secs) you get no punishment for aborting. None at all. If it really bugs you, just play in tournaments instead. If your opponent does not move within that timeframe, you win.
As for bots, um, could you please offer a shred or two of evidence? Or are you just upset that you got marked?

And one more thing. "Let us play how we want." Do you mean, "Let us not play how we want?" "Its [sic] not a big deal." Well, it kind of is. What's the point of the lobby if you can abort all of your games whenever you want? You could create puppet accounts to spam the lobby or just spam it with your account.
