Why do people play this so much? I never fall for it but it must be a really successful strategy since everyone keeps playing it.
mostly its for the lolz. you don't lose much if they don't fall for it, but gain a lot if they do
What time control to they constantly try the scholars' mate? Because in Bullet I think it is a decent strategy against lower rated players since they might be so worried about time they just play random moves and not really look at the position.
