Should a low rated player play in A, B or C class.

Hey,
Im quite new to chess with a raiting of 1300+ gotten in april. Ive studied a lot since then, but still, im a low rated player. i've beaten Fide 1900 and 1500+ in classical, but also lost against 1100-1300.
My question is about what class i should enter in a tournament?

I kinda want to play against the best to learn the most, but is this beneficial? i mean i dont want to be crushed in some opening variation and have a lost position after 10 moves.

what do you guys think would be the best way to play tournaments for a low rated player looking for the fastest way upwards(chess understanding/level of play, not raiting points)?
All depends on what you are trying to achieve... you might learn more from the higher rated tournament category, while the lower would be more even
If you want to get better, then play against the strongest players possible. If you have beaten a 1900 FIDE rated player, you certainly have potential and it would be a waste to beat fellow 1300 rated players. Do not fear the opening. Think long enough in the opening to find good moves and you will not be crushed and lose in 10 moves. Play the game as if you expect it to end in 20 moves and you will not lose in 20 moves. Against 1100-1300 players you should stay focussed and not expect an easy win: that is the recipe for blunders.
Thanks a lot for the input! I think i will try my luck in the A-class then. This will be very exiting, even though i most likely will lose all:)
Believe in yourself. Do not think of defeat. Just think hard about your moves and give it your best. You may get further than you think.
I would also advise to play up, but only to a level that you think you won't just simply get crushed every game. You want to play up to a level where you can learn something each game. When I was younger, I would always play up and I advise others to do the same.
I suspect you're just going to get crushed in class A. Class C is already playing up for you.

Going up three sections is too much
