I find bullet is decent practice for real chess time scrambles - you have to remain calm and find strong moves still... so not all that bad for your conventional chess :)
Yes, by the way.
You are absolutely right.
I played OTB game, and I won (did mate) only because I stayed calm in time scramble and did moves, that in long time control fail, but as it was 30 seconds left, they brought me a victory.
Yeah, but bullet isn't decent practice for the 89 minutes preceding that time scramble.
Yes, but many people don't practice for OTB chess, they need chess for improving their intellection.
but seriously, you are like 1% of the 1% of players that thinks hyper bullet is even a valid idea for chess. that figure might even be too high... look, you are trying to promote a game that deviates from the essence of chess; strategic/tactical planning and execution. what you are trying to achieve is a form of chess where intense speed wins.

this "variant" of chess will fail to players who play inane check moves... something you would never plan or anticipate for such as a queen capturing a random pawn and delivering check to simply kill 2-3 seconds of time due to reaction from the opponent. or, even simpler, a random non-check capture by the queen that devastates an opponent that already locked a premove. your variant idea fails. google judo-chess.
As I said I need not hyper-bullet. I need a game, where I can train reaction, intelligence, multi-operating. It seems chess 30sec+0 were perfect. I will be grateful, if somebody will advice something. But also something, where I don't need to learn all that rules.
'Bobbing bobcat' ... ?

I would never succeed in Hyper Bullet! :(
