Hans Niemann - Changed my mind - Ok, he cheated online, but who hasn't - OTB-He's honest

When I saw how he was able to analyze and explain this great OTB game against GM Antipov (2615) in 2022 Spring Chess Classic in Saint Louis Chess Club, it's clear for me now that he certainly has a chess-debth inside that match his OTB-performance. That's big evidence for honest OTB play on GM-level.

So yeah, I changed my mind now. Here is the link:

I’ve not cheated online.

Proof? Every time I analyse one of my games, SF pisses itself laughing.

And there’s no way I’m trying those bead things. Sod that for a game of soldiers.
I never cheated online too. Though I am considering opening a chess.com account only devoted to cheating and see how long I can get away with it.
The vast majority of people who play chess online, don't cheat.

Depending on the rating/time controls, it's only about 1%-3% who cheat...and it might even be lower than that.
Ok so there's one video where he can analyze a bit so we already disregard the computer analysis indicators? Chesscom still said these are worrisome. The case definitely remains open.
“A thief believes everybody steals.”
He's certainly not cheating now OTB under all this scrutiny. If he was that would be just incredibly brazen and foolish. And so if he continues beating the likes of Magnus, Aronian, Mamedyarov etc..., people will just have to come to terms with the fact that he's a super-GM.

Correct -- But, he is already a SuperGM, right around the 2700 mark. People love to attack people, it's just in our (lower) nature.

It occurred to me recently and I posted yesterday; this would be a very quiet discussion if only those who had beaten Magnus with a 98% accuracy in a bullet game were commenting.

It'll all wash out in the end eventually -- however this whole thing is very, very bad precedent and experience.
I mean Hikaru has said horrible things like "He's completely crazy" in one of the first videos.
It's really obscene -- and where is the check on things like this? People who have no control over what comes out of their mouth.
And they get people into an emotional frenzy and it gets picked up by others like a streamer with 4.5 million followers etc., etc,
