How to tell if something is wrong with Stockfish

After many games, I have concluded that there is a simple test of telling if something is wrong with local Stockfish analysis.
In atomic chess, if there are no problems, Stockfish level 8 will always respond to Nf3 f6 e3 with d5 Ng5 fxg5 Qh5+ g6 Qe5 Be6 Qxc7 b5, a very common line at high levels with extremely sharp play. If something is wrong with Stockfish, Stockfish level 8 will instead respond to Nf3 f6 e3 with e6. Play will then continue in 99% of games (given best theory by white) with either

a. Nd4 c6 Nb5 cxb5 Qh5+ g6 Qb5 Nc6 Qb6 axb6 Bb5 Kf7 Bxd7 Rxa2, a common opening that is probably winning for white after b4 Nh6 Bb2 f5 h3 Rg8 Bg7 Bd6 Bf8!? Bh2 d4, with the idea of playing the moves c4, Kd2, h4, e4, Rh3, and bringing the rook into play
b. Nd4 Nh6 Nb5 Ng4 f4 Qe7!? Nd6+ Qxd6 h3 Nf2 Qh5+ g6 Qb5 c6! Qxb7 Ne4! d4 Nd2 Ba6 Nxb1, where white’s extra pawn should win after Bc8 d5 Bd7+ Kd8 b4, with the idea of playing the moves a3, 0-0, b5, (b6 forcing axb6 if black doesn’t play cxb5), Rb1 and then trade the rooks, play a4 (to prevent Bxa3 where the white king is outside the square of the a-pawn) and sacrifice the bishop for a pawn to prevent pawnitization. White will win the endgame since the a-pawns remain on the board.
If Stockfish plays e6 instead of d5, something has gone wrong with either local analysis or server analysis. That may be your only chance to beat Stockfish Level 8. I’ve beaten Stockfish Level 8 in Atomic more than 300 times, almost all after lines a. or b. as mentioned earlier.
I would like someone else to test my theory. This also happens when the opening database is nonfunctional due to server or local issues. Is this the case for everyone?
