Accusations of cheating

I had a look at a small selection of games. A mark for cheating seems reasonable. I really doubt you saw him during these games without witnessing assistance of some sort.
1. Children can easily cheat. I have a 12 year old friend and he is banned.
2. How can you watch someone's ALL games ? You have nothing better to do ?
They can obviously cheat while you were not watching.
Let us all see his/her games. Maybe someone will decide he is not cheating.
Posting games for public view and discussing possible cheating is the VERY LAST thing that will happen. Members should know this by now. Players that post games, make accusations are "naming and shaming", get highly criticized in public, and most likely by moderators.
But otherwise we can't be sure if they cheated or not.
He says he did not cheat. Only way to prove this is show us the games
at least the player profile
The cheating problem is really a big problem, and I need to say lichess apart of being free takes this seriously. Other sites that are paid for the full content doesn't take seriously the cheating problem. So, we all need to give a great congratulations to lichess. Get marked as cheater is not like if he didn't did any mistakes, they can be people that doesn't makes mistake in one game, mostly 30 moves or less games. But playing like an example a 70 moves game, without mistakes and fastly it is really rare. The game should be an easy or known game or plan. We don't know who is the player also, and that is good, you never shared information from a child that may going in tough moments. That is something to congrats, but really I think lichess mark players for a clear cheating game, and getting reported as cheater. And I think several moderators discuss if that user cheats. After all that they should get to a conclusion.
Of course nothing is 100% right and he could been mark wrongly, but the user should talk privately to lichess, asking for the games if he doesn't know which are and after that analyze the game, if he didn't did any mistakes, time per move or any other reason.
I wish you good luck, and if he wasn't cheating or didn't cheat before hopefully he get unbanned.
@savagechess2k Unfortunately "show us the games" in a public forum will only lead to days of internet lawyering about what does or doesn't look like cheating.

As moderators suggest, contact@lichess.org is the way to handle such matters.

I too would hope Lichess has the resources to do such a thing.

Ah... I see the reasoning behind your post. You are better qualified than the experts at the detection team to make such judgements. Makes sense now. Let's have the public view the games, possibly take a vote by a poll, (of course only allowing 1 vote per day) and either hang em or let em go free. Who needs the best qualified experts when we, the general public, can do the same job with better results?

Oh... don't forget, lichess needs to make available the analysis of game history, metrics of every move made, the time taken for every move, all the data that is available for the player in question. But then again ... maybe the general public has no such use for this analysis, we can hang em on intuition and the sound of their username. The alleged cheaters can have their day in the forums, be allowed to make a public appeal. Possibly stream a video proclaiming innocence. This way we can meet them on a personal level. See they are really nice folk after all.
Actually, it isn't that hard to find the username, and seeing some games of your student if I am talking from the same person, played a perfect game were the moves were less than 10 seconds, even though the game finished move 12 but a perfect game, were he did excellent moves, like 8. Qh5 to create a weakness and attack e6 pawn. (I am talking the game he played with stras) I need to say that move isn't quite easy to see in less than 10 seconds. Maybe I am wrong @WibbleWobbler and I hope i do, if your student never played with stras, I am confusing the player.

I won't share his username because he is a child neither how I think I found it, just want to send you a direct message as help to look that game. Again, I wish you a lot of luck.
