I just put the country I live in.
I am a born Italian but live in the USA. I could have also rightly put Canada or Mexico because why not? Who cares its a flag. :)

I don't really know why you're assuming he's offended or why you're getting so bent out of shape over this. He just wants an option to put something different for his country, who gives a crap?
