Stop someone from Auto observing each game?

I have blocked a user. But they have some kind of program that auto observes every game I play and they show up in the chat so I see their name for every game. How do I prevent this while still keeping chat for everyone else? It seems to me that if you block a user they should not be able to observe your games and follow you all the time.
Thats what I am saying. If a spectator is blocked they should not be able to observe the game and not be able to harass you by observing every game you play.
Your games here are not private and not your personal property.
Well... If someone annoyed you enough that you had to block them, it's natural that you don't want to see their username pop up when you play games.
@lovlas You can want whatever you want, doesn't mean everyone else has to think wanting that thing is reasonable. Regardless of how annoying the person is, the OP does not own access to his games and is in no position to make such a demand.

And of course there is the fact that a little name on the bottom of the screen is not actually doing anything. I have little to no sympathy for people who complain about harassment in the chat, just disable it and never look at it again. Or, if you keep looking, accept that as one of the risks.

I have even less sympathy for someone claiming to be harassed by a person who may or may not even be watching their games.

Can I block every person on the site, and then no person will be able to watch any of my games, even if it is my opponent they are interested in? Is this reasonable? Should I get to decide for my opponent who is and is not allowed to view their games? What if I'm wathing LichessTV and a game of a person who has blocked me comes on? Should the screen just go blank to protect some other user's delicate sensibilities?
This is the feedback forum. He gave feedback. We listen to that feedback.
What feedback was that? All I see is him asking a question. He got the answer too: it’s not possible, nor should it be. That’s my opinion anyway, I’m not associated with lichess obviously. But if it really is just a forum for posting feedback and lichess admins to see it, then there would be no reason for the forum to be publicly accessible.

I disagree with your description of his reaction as “natural” - the many other people who do not complain about this suggest otherwise.
He is not the first to raise this point, and probably not the last. How blocking works varies from site to site. Changing it is of course possible.
