Do you care about our planet, our oceans and our forests?

On Mars there is little oxygen and clouds (if there is one) are raining carbonic acid. Have fun.
@CreativeThinking i know joining a team does not make any change but At least we can get people's attention to the present crisis. And I am not saying to advertise teams also:) They will join if they feel its worthy
steve if you get the chance look up mars cave systems , and how habitation there is an option ,
"Should we stop poisoning a place which is perfectly suited for our survival?"
"Nah... let's just plan on traveling 55 million kms to a toxic, barren hellscape."

"Well, at least we'll all get a fresh start, right? "
"Yeah, if you can afford the real estate... and provide your own transportation, building materials and labor, or just use one of our licensed end-to-end brokers. Prices starting at 100MM USD, or you can agree for you and your future generations to work it off."
Don't advertise try to improve in chess get good ratings people will automatically see ur profile
@MagnusSonOfCarI When in history have people colonized foreign lands to help future generations?

Most colonization centered around stripping out as much wealth and resources as quickly and as efficiently as possible, with as little regard for the local population as was necessary to keep the gold flowing. South America and Africa are prime examples of just how barbaric that could be, with the effects still felt to this day.

Or you have religious extremists who are looking to consolidate secular power with their own fundamentalism. The Puritans are a decent example, as are the Mormons, and most recently (and most extremely) you have the ISIS Caliphate.

If this world were dying, the premise will flip but the script will remain the same. Mars will be populated by the rich and powerful from Earth, and they're going to take as much resources as possible to terraform Mars, even if it means putting the final nails in Earth's coffin.
@chummer yeaaahhhhhhhh, the difference is there is no native Mars population.

I'm kind of joking, but there will be attempts to start colonies on Mars, and in theory we could make it similar to earth with oceans, and atmosphere and ecosystems.
@MagnusSonOfCarUh-huh. So, let's see.....
Solution: we grow trees on mars.
Problem: How in the world are we going to plant trees on a barren land with far less soil than necessary, and I might add that the only water is at the North and South Poles, and we definitely cannot bring enough water for the tree's survival, and, what's the highest temperature on Mars again? 40 something F?
Yeah, great plan.
