The Colorado Gambit may be a terrible opening, yes, but other gambits are not, such as the Rio, Scotch, Vienna, King's, etc
@lovlas I hate it to be honest (@FunnyAnimatorJimTV) but @lovlas more interestingly why do you think people play these opening's instead of ok but UU openings like lichess.org/study/un20QEOZ/93uWbwWJ
I love gambits where the ordinary player won't have in it's opening like very trappy opening's (You might say crappy but)lichess.org/study/Sm3L1k4x I do very well out of even it is bad. @Water-Flame I agree

Vienna and KG are pretty bad tbh. The others aren't gambits. Rio Gambit isn't a thing. Its called the Berlin.
The Rio Gambit IS a thing. It comes out of the Berlin. Vienna and KG are NOT bad either. Maybe not the best, but they are played by GMs on occasion.
@howchessYT My friend, you do not do "very well" with these openings. You are rated under 1200 classical on here.
Maybe that would be better if you played decent openings.

Both allow black to equalize without any problems. You are free to claim that "Rio Gambit" has independent value, but it is still just a berlin.
@lovlas ok
They both allow black to equalize, but they are not as bad as you claimed previously.
Yes, they are. White needs to memorize a bazillion lines while black can play one set-up and equalize without any issues. That makes it a terrible opening. I'm not claiming the KG loses by force but its still a terrible opening. Sure it can have some value as a surprise weapon, but against a well prepared opponent you are gonna have a bad time.
