I do pause for a few seconds, but usually, it's not to "let pain sink in" but it's "Can I get any counterplay?" and if the answer is no then I resign, but if I think I got a small shot I take it and play on.
I usually don't feel very much when I blunder. Maybe I would be a better player if I did. How are strong players feeling about blunders?
I win many games after losing my queen.
Most times losing your queen will force your your opponent to stop playing for a win.
Assuming that the position is not completely bankrupt, this means that you are 1 undefended trick/trap away from:
a) taking his queen
b) checkmating him in a mating net

Awesome thread title
The worst thing about knowing that I have made a blunder is that I become rattled, and 1 blunder quickly becomes 4 blunders

never resign in bullet or blitz, let the pain sink in and continue the fight
Why waste time checking to see if it was legal? It's not possible to make illegal moves online.
When you lose your Queen you look for any and all technicalities!
It's not a blunder - it is a holiday gift
When I blunder out a queen, the next thing I think of is resigning
(after feeling up to 2.8 seconds of pain)
