Alpha Zero - Stockfish -- Kf1 !? can someone *try* to explain how this is better than castling?

I know its not legal to castle there, but why not defend then castle?
8.Bd2 loses a pawn and has a disastrous score for White in the db.

White probably can castle immediately instead of Ne5. But again, sac‘ing a pawnie.
There are some openings where moving your king and eventually "slow castling" is fine. White's king is pretty safe on f1 and White is able to free up the rook before there's any serious trouble.
One has to be careful with "winning a pawn". Sometimes it turns out to be compensation. Here it was the b-pawn instead of the d-pawn but with similar motifs.

The crucial detail in both cases: Bb4+ Bd2 xb3 Bb4? allows b2, bxa1Q - touch-down in the opening!
