Why does nobody rematch after they win?

Bullshit. You can give fairness yourself but you cannot enforce fairness (according to your synapses) from others. Stop bothering innocent people. The community is alive and kicking - despite rematch sickos and takeback lunatics.
I'm practicing my Black openings, so always play Black. If I accept a rematch I get stuck playing White. So I always decline and click I Gotta Go.
@Sarg0n

Nobody is talking about "enforcing" fairness. That notion emerged entirely from your mind, not anybody's post.

People were discussing reasons why people do not accept rematch offers. If you can't handle the discussion maturely (and it appears you cannot), then ignore it.

The world will go on.
People here agree too play a single game with each other. That’s the only deal and there’s nothing beyond.
I have Zen mode turned on so I won't have to see the re-match request or take-back
cagey you have not been reading very long have you
@Sarg0n

Having the right to do, or not do, something doesn't mean it is right. People can, and will continue, to differ on that point. It is the case for every competitive sport in existence.
What is the moral argument for giving a rematch? I don't see one.
@Cagey

"2. They won on the basis of a blunder that will not be repeated in a second game.
3. They won on time in a losing position and realize that, with greater concentration by their opponent in a second game, they will likely lose."

These are precisely the circumstances I suspect. People in this thread are metamorphosing my frustration into a demand that people rematch me every time I offer, which makes me doubt they read the few words I initially wrote. I get frustrated when someone plays me--this is almost exclusively in blitz and bullet--multiple times in a row and only stops after the outcome of the game changes in the last game. I've seen this go on for as many as four games in a row of them winning or losing, and then the circumstances you listed almost uniformly are what happens in the last game we play, after which they decline rematches. I agree wholly with you that in most cases this is bad practice for sportsmanship and improvement in the game.

If they simply didn't want to play again, a "gtg" would be hugely appreciated over what always happens: they sit there, idle, for up to thirty seconds before declining the rematch offer. It's honestly just weird.
