Could someone please explain the hand and flag symbols below the playing board? If you haven't guessed, I'm a rookie.
The hand is to offer a draw. The flag is to resign.
Hand is offer draw, and Flag is resign.
Being a rookie, neither button should ever be pressed. Good to practice when you are losing, to get familiar with defensive play. And also under 2000 lichess rating, can still turn the game around a piece down.
