Whenever I come back to the lichess main page and click "Create a game", the option it is set to is Racing Kings with unlimited time control (as opposed to being set to whatever I last sent out a seek for).
me too. seems like a bug with the last site update.

+1 very annoying. I'm assuming it's defaulting to the last element of the menus instead of the previous user-selected setting?

This is happening to everyone it seems, all the games are of players hosting 1500? unranked games.
I'm sure it's a simple fix, but I agree that this is a small bug that popped up in this last update that should be fixed.
