Is there any way to input moves other than a trackpad or mouse ?

I use a trackpad as opposed to a mouse because my fingers are not that dextrous, but it really isn't a good idea.

It is awkward to use and cost me a load of time in a won position tonight, and I lost on time because of it.

Are there any alternatives ?!

:)
Maybe I should just give up quick games because I am fed up of this happening lol

In preferences-game behavior there is an option to input moves by keyboard which is common for playing blindfolded.

You can use a touchscreen computer, tablet or phone.
An increment helps to avoid a flagging event, but remember that is a double edge sword and you could just as easily lose because of an increment as a win from one. I have had some increment games where I get someone down to fumes on the clock but they keep making moves and don't get flagged.
i use a trackpad a lot of the time, it's slower and mouse slips are common, time scrambles are tough. Magnus has played bullet tournaments on his phone so I guess a good carpenter doesn't blame his tools.

When it comes to doing it on your phone, just moving the piece up with your finger is usually good.
at lest disable clik-on-tap. I would not play on touch-thingy at all but if you dont have mouse and want to play...
