Say what you want about Magnus ...

The bowing comment seems a bit off, as it is not a part of Western culture, but is practiced in many places. The thread is not to "worship" but to give well deserved respect. Magnus is still very young in the big picture. We certainly are not aware of all the media pressures, the stress that comes along with so much work and demans of his time. His few "negative"reactions displaying his emotions have been criticized as "rude". Who here would make the claim they could do better under all the demands? I wouldn't interpret any such reactions as unsportsmanlike. Just a young man who is still maturing and doing a fine job of it.

Myself, I would have been tempted to leave Maurice Ashley a fat lip after the "not very smooth" interview. Instead MC simply cut the interview off short and walked away. Such reactions get criticized, but his dedication, performance and time given to promoting chess are exemplary.
Is there anybody who believes he is unworthy of the WCh title?

In the past....
Lasker or Steinitz?
Capa or Alechine?
Botvinnik , Bronstein , Smyslov or Tal?
Kasparov or Karpov?

Nowadays , who is Carlsen's great opponent? He seems to be in a chess world of his own...
He is obsessed with Chess ... that makes him worthy of his current status.
And what about behaardthebonobo ? Isn't he Magnus ? Who is he ?
Say what you want about Magnus ...
- Brilliant! Come by for a beer or a drink some time, Magnus!
Yet another extraterrestrial win against Wesley So. So left the venue completely devastated and speechless without his score–sheet.

I would have felt utterly lampooned.
Magnus appears to see into the future. Plays early King d1, King stuck in the center, later goes to f3, loses a pawn, gains a pawn, twice sacs a piece , remains with 2 pawns vs a Rook for a win in 75 moves. Wesly may as well stayed in bed today, rather than being so tortured.
