How do you develop a better mindset about playing higher rated players?

Whenever I get paired against a high rated player, I always lose confidence and start to demotivate myself. And when I blunder against a higher rated player, I always think I will lose and just resign.
it's very stressful to play high rated players, the best thing to do is calm your nerves, remember your theory, know your tactics, and just have fun.

Ps you have a low rating, you might need to study openings, and probably learn to improve as a beginner. Gothamchess is probably my favorite option to improve as a beginner, he teaches you everything you need to know.
Activate Zen Mode, so you cannot see your opponent's rating. Then just do your best, you can analyze your game after match is over.

Ya!! This might help also
Many players do better against higher-rateds; it motivates them or something like that.
u can only win u have nothing to lose especially online when no one is watching.
i actually like to play against higher rated players because i lose less points and gain more points for a win.

i remember i was always losing in starcraft 2 when i got far enough in prize torunament so my games got casted on a livestream with a couple tousand viewers, so i know the pain of not being able to control my mindset.

i just saw u won against a 2100 player in rapid congratulation.

Use logic to understand that the pressure is on higher rated player who can't afford to lose while you have nothing to lose.
That causes many higher rated players to lose against lower rated players.
Just take a deep breath and instill confidence to face any difficulty by playing at your level best. Play well with much presence of mind.
And if you win the game it will only help you by boosting your morale for more games.
