That’s the point. But to be honest: I mostly fail with this.

I needed years to realize that correspondence works totally different.

And that this analysis board is a good thing.

I thought of correspondence as just another mode - with longer time control.

And then playing some moves like in real time.

@RickRenegade , you are allowed to use the analysis board on the side, not the engine. What does that mean?

Well, in correspondence there is an analysis board that you can use within the game that has the opening book for you to use but not an engine like the main analysis board on lichess. @ChessMathNerd

@RickRenegade The problem is that the analysis board button shows on phone when you go to the lichess website, but it doesn't show on the computer...
