- Infamous Last Words -

Immediately before being killed by a Confederate sniper, US Major General John Sedgewick declared the following:
"They couldn't hit an elephant from here"

"That guy's got to stop... He'll see us" — James Dean
Out for a ride in his Porsche 550 Spyder with close friend Rolf Wütherich, James reportedly said "That guy's got to stop… He'll see us" after Wutherich asked him to slow down. Moments later, Dean died in a head-on collision, Wutherich survived.
Ned Kelly, Australian 19th century bushranger and outlaw, had many final words. There is debate from historians on what they were. He supposedly said "such is life" right before he was hung. But in a sense his "final words" could also be his response at his trial for murder; the Judge said after finding him guilty "May God have mercy on your soul" and Ned Kelly responded "I will go a little further than that, and say I will see you there where I go".

p.s if I play chess otb sometimes an opponent will say "you are as game as Ned Kelly" if a move is bold/risky.
Wow, I was about to post that clousems one! (And in my version he didn't get the whole sentence out.)
