I have not possibility to play Correspondence Rated games in variants

So what could explain me getting rated points after this rule was put in place?

Because they didn't turn existing rated games into casual, they just made it impossible to start new rated games?

I think that lichess.org has big problem because many Correspondence games(huge) is actually played in variants,
after replaced rules it is illogical situation,
all games must to be finished and counted or became(change) their status for Casual,
it is really beaufitull mess in my opinion,
people who decided that made mistake because They did not find good solution and the right way instead it they listened to bad advisers who wanted to achieve their goal but they were wrong

Thanks to lichess team for this new update, In racing kings variant possibilities are so limited compared with the normal chess that you can easily lose a game just with one blunder and you cant do anything after that and in correspondence mode beginners could reach a draw or win against top players cause of the opening explorer because you cant change the best line or you lose the game plus all of that you can add the cheating problem or "battle of the opening explorers".

Honestly, with all the polarizing language in this forum topic it's no wonder there's been a complete breakdown in communication.

@toadofsky Maybe its because of that the leaderboard for variants are not separated to Bullet, blitz and correspondece, some of the people are in the top10 just because of their power in fast moves or inverse.

With all due respect, if the problem is playing 1500's then make it so correspodence you can only play + or - 200 of your own rating. I set mine 800-2000 and 1500? keeps joining and not moving. Is that my fault? no. Why do we even have an option to choose the entire rating spectrum of players and not the ability to block ? players. This is a design flaw, not cheating. Make a proper design, give the ability to block ? players and set limits for seek to 200 points. Don't just arbitrarily blame people who are just playing the game for winning because noobs don't log in to make a move.

@rzenaikrzys See its not that easy to do that because then it has to be a bullet rating too that makes so many leaderboards imagine that!

I meant about not only bullet but all games in real time tempo,
from in ultrabullet tempo to Classical tempo,
separately Leaderboard for Correspondence rated game
