There could be some license issues but not this pieces of course, need better Merridas.
If you see here github.com/ornicar/lila/issues/3318, they were apparently sent directly by the author, but it doesn't look like there was some specific issue, just a visual update for some reason.

Keeping old implementation in options would do the thing or we need something like lichess marketplace so could get pieces which we invidually like.
