Henry David Thoreau

Do you like H. D. Thoreau?

Or dislike, or indifferent? I've never read anything in toto, but most of Walden Pond I think.
Hey, that dude legalized weed in Canada, right?

An a-okay human being in my book, if my assertion is correct.
Nope, that was after his time... he said these quotes

But I remember him for walking a lot...

'Our life is frittered away by detail... simplify, simplify.

'Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.

'The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.

'That government is best which governs least.

'It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.'

Also he was friends with R. W. Emerson, who was somewhat of a mentor to him.
I’m not a fan of the transcendentalists, personally
Walden was probably my least favorite read ever- which is funny because living simply in the woods is a dream for me.
