Finally, my training paid off. :D
Thanks
@Chess-Network and
@TonyRo for teaching me this in your videos! ;)
Wow, nailed it! Great work, nice game! ;)
Triangles! Nice :D
49 moves - you are lucky :) But congratulations, personally I saved a few games when my opponent, strong player, could not checkmate with this material.
Nice! I tried playing B+N vs king, unfortunately i took four takebacks.
en.lichess.org/gaKEcAsf/white#0Now you opened the door to BN-Ending, I'm sure you can do much better.
All three pieces work together. Choose wisely the squares you will use for your knight, especially if the knight squares have different color than the bishop.
Keep the king with your pieces in the net.
the bishop and knight ending is simply just aiming for the king to get to the corner, pretty simple actually.
I prefer W manoeuvre.
Triangle is slower.
Somebody I knew played a blitz game with Tigran Petrosyan. They were playing with an old analogue chess clock with a needle on the flag and a fine scale for seconds. They reached the K+B+N vs. K ending with like 20 seconds remaining. So my acquaintance proposed a draw. Petrosyan refused and mated in time...
