what should I do in this situations?

<Comment deleted by user>
If someone has the ability to win the game (for example, king and queen vs queen) and the person who can win times out, the game is declared a draw.

Game is a draw if opponent runs out of time but you have insufficient material to mate your opponent
@aryan2563 Wait, so you checkmate your opponent and you don't get any rating? That's strange. I am not familiar with the points system, so I don't believe I can help you in this regard.
@aryan2563 When you don't have enough material to mate your opponent (in this case a lonely king), if his time runs out, then it's declared a draw, regardless of anything. So even though you won on time, it's considered a draw because you didn't have a way to mate him. The situation you said about not winning any points, it's because when there is a draw between opponents of the same rating, then neither of them win or lose any points. If your opponent was higher rated, as in this game, then you might win points, but the amount is less then if it was a win, of course.
