40 degrees, Save our planet.

I swear, if the governments won't do anything then there will be a need for physical violent action, because even if everyone knows and believes about climate change, and peaceful protests are happening, then the government won't feel forced to do anything as there is nothing that will happen to it/them if they (the government) ignores the problem, and when (and assuming, will) take action it will be too slow and probably too late

I don't wish to sound pendantic but the problem is the rich.it's always about greed.screw you all long as I got my ac and my mountain top retreat. Sure my private jet pollutes but I'll just buy some carbon credits because I'm such a good person.my god the hypocrisy of it all is enough to turn my stomach.
And then the poor developing nations(I certainly don't mean China,the world's biggest polluter,alongside my own USA.)I mean the POOR developing nations.Sometimes I am just so ashamed of humanity that there is still hunger,want and injustice in this world.
Why are we so obsessed with things.Why do we have to have our toys and material possessions.Why do we value the valueless.Why do we let the few hold the destiny of us all(indeed the whole planet) in their greedy,grubby self interested hands.
Ok.sorry I had to vent(some would call it rant).But still I believe the root cause of global warming is greed and pointless acquisition.
@clousems
Very succinct and exactly how I feel.
I just hope we're not on The Eve Of Destruction.
I always wondered about John's revelations.
If there's supposed to be an apokalypse, shouldn't we be speeding it up?
@Dukedog: its not that easy. what differs the rich from the poor? it is not greed. its that the rich had success with their greediness where the poor didnt. generally the footprint of the poor is only smaller because they are poor and not because they are pure.

remember when the "working class" dragged extinction rebellion protesters off tube trains in britain?

i say we are all guilty, but the finger pointing must go to the politicians, not the people. climate justice now!

and while you listen to #16, remember: the revolution will not be televised.
Here the highest temperature in my city in the summer was 43°C. We gotta reduce the use of air-conditioners for our mother Earth!
