Don't come hangin' 'round my door
Don't want to see your face no more
I don't need your war machines
I don't need your ghetto scenes
Colored lights can hypnotize
Sparkle someone else's eyes

Or decades and decades of rogue external affairs.
I guess Chomsky has "no first hand experience" of the US lol.
theintercept.com/2022/04/14/russia-ukraine-noam-chomsky-jeremy-scahill/ There is no #4 and two #5 in this thread. Counting is hard.
Here is Joe Biden's definition which really made me think about what America is, so I wanted to see what other people thought.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=087UC0i4_XcNow I know the background of this thread:
"America is a nation that can be defined in a single word. I was in the foothills of the Himalayas with Xi Jinping, travelling with him. I'd actually travelled 17,000 miles when I was vice president. I don't know that for a fact. We were sitting alone. I had an interpreter and he had an interpreter. And he looked at me in all seriousness. He said, ''Can you define America for me?” the president said.
“I said what many of you heard me say for a long time. I said yes, I can, in one word,
possibilities... "
America knows words. America has the best words.

theintercept.com/2022/04/14/russia-ukraine-noam-chomsky-jeremy-scahill/Most people are Chomsky?
is the US - defined entirely by its foreign policy?
What of those who don't support it - whose numbers are in the hundreds of millions?

What of those?
America is not a country, it is a continent that ranges from the Arctic to Patagonia.
The United States of America, or U.S.A., or U.S., are the country you are referring to.
