Today I was playing in Firefox and the board went black, I think I have seen this reported before but searching the forum I couldnt find it.
Here is an image of how it looked at the end, I was lucky to find some pawns...

That's happened to me too , I'm assuming it's a script issue. Obvs not ideal for bullet or general time pressure games, but minimizing then quickly maximizing the browser sorts it out for me.
I suggest a fresh installation of your OS and Waterfox, as long as your pirated OS is a x64.
In regards to #3: I did minimize a few times and you're right, it did work most of the time, eventually it stopped working though :/
In regards to #4: Im a IT student and get Windows for free.
This is happening to me all the time now. Maybe not every game but certainly every second or more. It's extremely annoying in bullet games. It usually helps to minimize and maximize but then I have frequently lost on time.
Can it be a browser issue? I mostly use Firefox.
#7 All reporters in this thread seem to use firefox yes, it could be an extension/plugin doing something.
I have mostly used Chrome now for a week or two, and the problem seems to have disappeared. I will not switch back to Firefox to test the hypothesis, but it seems the be related to that browser.
