I just finished a game where my opponent timed out and this message appeared..
"Warning, [opponent]. Letting time run out instead of resigning will result in a temporary ban."
It would be good if there was an option for the opponent (ie, me) to be able to opt out of this. My opponent genuinely played the game, they were just in trouble. It is unfair for them to potentially get a ban. If there was some way that I could tick a box to say "Hey, don't worry, my opponent played fairly", that would be great.
