I found a tournament series where single players would make individual appointments for their matches. The games were played on Lichess, but the tournament organization was external, on a kind of forum. I think it was also a league system for single players, with promotion and relegation. In other words, for each round there was a timeframe, but players were free to play there match whenever they wanted.
Unfortunately I lost the link to this series. I think it was German, but I'm not sure. As far as I can remember, it was an established system with a larger number of participants.
Any ideas?
