How rude can you get??

<Comment deleted by user>
Congratulations on your win. That was nice play on your part.

Misclicks happen. As @DrLiechtenstein (#3) pointed out, you can enable move confirmation to limit them.

Assuming your opponent knows your move is a misclick may be expecting too much. They may assume you've just noticed a blunder after your intended move (blunders do happen). Perhaps if you type in the chat that you misclicked, they may be more inclined to accept the takeback.

Having said that, takebacks are optional to accept (as they are to send). Nothing wrong or rude with not accepting them.

I don't believe your opponent breached any etiquette that I'm aware of, but saying 'this guy is dumb as a box of rocks' is a faux pas on your part - unwarranted at best and rude at worst.
player a. Declines a takeback -> is desperate to win
player b. Makes a misclick and requests a takeback, opp declines, player b. mocks the opponent publicly -> is not desperate to win

Takeback please.

Nah yeah you can't assume opponent will takeback. It's a bit stingy in a long casual game but it's not rude.
@rickrenegade... oh come on... you just HAD to show a game where you trolled your opponent ._. lol

still... if you had 32 bishops all on the same color it's a draw xD
Every time someone ask for a takeback I'm just not looking on it. It's not I don't accept it, I'm just focused on the board. Plus, I missclicked my queen many times (thank you smartphone 😡), I never ask for a takeback, again I never think about it.
Well, I always accept takebacks (especially in 5 or more minutes for a game), I just think it is normal, since otherwise the game becomes boring and pointless after your opponent gave a queen for free. Though, I would not say I see any rude behaviour in not accepting them, so it is optional
