Question regarding to creating a second account

My school is having a chess tournament on lichess next week, but they require everyone to have their real name for their username, and as you can see, my username is not my real name. Can I create a second account in that case? I will not use it to play any other matches outside my school's tournament and the tournament is unranked.
A quote from Lichess, when creating a new account: "Also note that making multiple accounts is strongly discouraged and excessive multi-accounting will lead to being banned." So I think it is allowed when you really need a new account, and don't do it too often.

Disclaimer: I'm not a mod.
I don't believe Lichess cares if you make multiple accounts (even if you don't have "legitimate" reasons to do so), as long as you don't do stupid things with them, i.e. rating-manipulation (However, I would suggest not making too many, as that might cause problems).

I am a chess teacher and I have an account specifically for my classes (mostly so the class won't tank my puzzle rating when I have them tell me what moves to make). It hasn't been a problem. Like you said, it's not for any kind of ratings manipulation, trolling, or spamming purposes, so I think you are fine.
Thank you all for your responses, I hope I don't get banned

Hello,

That seems like a valid reason to create a second account. Your permission is granted.

I would like to suggest making the tournament rated as that automatically activates one of our anti cheating systems, see more info here: lichess.org/page/event-tips.
