What would that be good for? Innocent/guilty, right/wrong, good/bad aren't really valid category for describing living beings. These are juridical or moral or prejudical terms describing special ways of cognitive actions.
You see, I avoided the term thinking. That's why I doubt that the use of innocent etc. has rarely to do with thinking. It's usually resulting from a reflex arc.

Now I know. American Evangelicals do believe in the bible version of the Earth, and the firmament, so they think that the rain falls from there, and therefore there is no worries about Nuclear Winter. The rain would just fall and make the smoke fall down aswell.
