I have the same problem and the things the devs will tell you is to get a better computer with updated software, that's why I just play on my phone.
You don't need a better computer, chances are your current one will do just fine. What you need is an updated browser.
Unfortunately for you, Microsoft, Mozilla and Google dropped support for XP. Firefox and Chrome versions that you can install there are too outdated. Your only hope is to use a PaleMoon fork (28.5.0+, earlier versions might not work correctly), à la [edit: sorry, that page is now gone]
You should however consider switching to Linux, for security reasons.
