Liberalism and Conservatism

I'm just a curious bystander, what has Trump done wrong so far? Not trolling here, I just see all this Trump bashing but I never see a reason.
Thanks.
Well, tolerance is one of those words that gets thrown around so much, that it has lost its meaning. I support fee speech. And besides there is a big difference between threatening someone in the comments section on Twitter and assaulting them for wearing a MAGA hat.
@robotrock Let's see: He completely ruined the meaning of facts. He has lied so often and his supporters don't even care. Facts and truths don't matter anymore. He has shown that it is enough to make people feel something in order to win elections. Similar behaviour has led to the Brexit, a catastrophic decision.
He has given up so much in the talks with Kim: Kim went from being a internationally isolated dictator to be seen as Trump's equal partner but Trump has gained nothing in return except for Kim's will to denuclearize North Korea but we don't know what this means in Kim's eyes or when he will start with that. So we have to hope that Kim actually does something.
Trump is sabotaging free trade in the world and has ended trade agreements that were good for the USA (for example NAFTA or TTIP).
He has destroyed the reputation of the USA around the world.
He has shown disgusting behaviour, for example mocking a disabled reporter.
His reaction to Charlottesville have shown how dangerously positive he sees nazis. I could go on longer but I think this should be enough to show why he is a bad president.
Brexit was great, every politician lies nearly every day, the summit was a major success, he had not destroyed the United States reputation around the world, he had shown that the US has a president who it's willing to do something, he does not support Nazism, (see Liberal Fascism by Jonah Goldberg, and The Big Lie by Dinesh D'souza). The only reasonable point there is free trade. I will admit that he has made a mistake there. He has said some things that I don't think he should have said, but disgusting? No
The elephant in the room is the 20 trillion dollar debt. He is attacking unfair trade deals because of the serious danger such a debt represents, so he must take a hard stance and see what deal shakes loose. That's what he does.
Wow, right now I'm shocked how you can just brush off so many arguments in a single sentence. Brexit was great? What would you do about the border between Ireland and North Ireland? Why is it good that the UK leaves the EU internal market? Every politician lies is an insane statement to make. Here in Germany politicians also lie but there are often consequences, in 2012 our president had to resign because of lying. Trump has lied so much that the truth doesn't matter in political discussions. He has lied almost 2000 times in the first year in office. The summit was a major success? How? What has he actually gained? Does Kim have to do anything now? Yes, he did something but that doesn't mean it's good. He maybe doesn't support nazis but he is pleased about their support for him. Dinesh D'souza is a convicted criminal who now got pardoned despite having pled guilty which btw is also an insane thing to happen.
Is it true that in Germany you have to work or you do jail time?
No one else was ever even prosecuted for his"crime" @Chillkroete77! It was politically motivated, and he only plead guilty because he was intimidated into it.
@robotrock @GBA87 The fact that you actually believe in what you are writing proves my point about the facts: The truth doesn't matter anymore and you don't even care. Of course you don't have to go to jail if you don't find a job. And about the D'souza case: Illegal campaign funding is a crime in the USA. That is a fact. He provided no evidence for his claim that he was selectively prosecuted. That are facts. I think (that is not a fact anymore) that he just made that accusation because he knew that every conservative would believe that without asking.
