Suggestion: Temp ban if you leave game to lose on time and play another.

Hi, I just played a game in which my opponent left with over a minute left on his clock. Then I noticed that he was already playing another game. He played that game while making me wait for his clock to ruck out instead of resigning. I wonder if behaviour like this at least should lead to an instant temporary 1-2 hour ban? Summary: I'm suggesting a temporary ban for anyone someone leaves a game instead of resigning and plays another while their clock runs out since this is clearly not a case of lost connection.

Sometimes my computer is frozen or internet connection is lost during a game in progress. I either lose these because "I left the game" or "let time run out instead of resigning". Sorry for cheap equipment and that I live in an area with poor internet. I hope these things do not justify any bans. I never rage quit without resigning and never start a new game without completing the game in progress. I never abuse the clock in dead lost positions, I just resign. Sometimes when I seek in quick pairing or lobby, several games start simultaneously. I get confused and "fail to start" all of them. It's great that has never happened in an arena tournaments where all false starts are rated.
I am not entirely sure what the ethics are on recreating already existing threads. And where the line between refering to the appropriate post and necroing something dead is.
I get that this is an old problem. I am not suggesting that you should not be allowed to play multiple games or that you should be banned if you lose one of your games due to timeout but if you lose one game because you left with X amount of time left and played another never came back to the first game and lost on time then surely that is grounds for at least a suspension no? @ sargon

I wonder if the issue is how complicated that would be to code and explain as a rule.
Its already in action i sometime get temporarily banned for leaving my games but i don't leave games i just loose connection
Suspension, ban, punishment are childish ways to address problems. This behaviour must not be allowed. It's as simple as that.

And no, connection problems are not an issue. Those are a player's problem, not his opponent's.
