Blanking out Russian flags and making kitty bots and ignoring site functionality has been chess.com's method of operation for some time now. Lot's of excuse making by staff there.

Luckily enough we still have lichess. Also chesscom is just fraudulent and not about the game itself anymore but monetarization, so no big deal anyway.
