Seeing as how there are seemingly infinite “favorite singer” and “favorite song” threads, I thought this’d be a nice change of pace.
For me, it’s a toss-up between Operation: Mindcrime (Queensrÿche) and Magic (Bruce Springsteen).
I don’t have a favourite album, but I could give a list of my favourite few genres.
- Pop (any between the 70s or even earlier till today)
- Country (preferably around the 80s)
- Rock (Few... very few from various timelines)
- Jazz (Any before the 2000s)
- R&B (Few, but across all times)
Daisy by Brand New hands down. The only albums that come close are A black Mile to the Surface by Manchester Orchestra and Hospice by The Antlers. I've listened to hundreds of bands' entire discographies, so this is very high praise, coming from me.
