How to lose a game after you have had a +8.4 advantage

25.Qe5 was definitely a big mistake. One nugget of wisdom I remember GM Shabalov sharing was that there are two combinations of pieces that are unusually strong: RRBB and QNN. Interestingly a bishop (worth 3 points), should only swing the evaluation 3 points realistically, right? In fact, it swings the evaluation almost 5 points when you don't take the free bishop.

Maybe something to keep in mind in your future games (blunders aside) is that when you see an opportunity to imbalance the material but gain one of these piece combinations, evaluate its strength relatively rather than purely by material count.
