I have played a lot of games here. But its showing red at under 2000 and more than 20 games. I was playing till yesterday. Now its not joining me.
If I remember right you have to be under 2000 for 7 days to be in the tournament.
Has Lichess explicitly expressed this requirement anywhere? Seems odd if they haven't, this question gets asked a lot and I think it's pretty important that people know it is a requirement. I would certainly not assume it without being told.
If you are >2000 and still want to play <2000, close current account, create new one, play for 20 games before the tournment, you will be ok.
I could always do that. But I should be able to play with my own account. They should make all the requirements explicit in the tournament.

@the_higher_technique You can try playing in the open tournaments(like the Eastern Blitz Arena).
you can still play in open tournaments. besides the harder the opponent the more practice. :)
Once you cross in to higher rating and want to play in lower rated tourneys when your rating drops, you have to again qualify the requirements that is maintain <2000 for 20 consecutive games. The important word is "consecutive".
